The 5th Annual Voices of September 11th “Always Remember” gala was a night filled with remembrance and heartfelt personal reflection at New York City’s Chelsea Piers.
The evening began with an inspirational video message from Secretary Hillary Clinton. The program included a heartwarming address from Kathie Lee Gifford, and a performance with friend and Composer David Friedman of “Little Baby,” a song written for a close friend who lost her husband on 9/11. Musical entertainment was provided by opera singer Amanda Nisenson, as well as soloists, Joan Carlo and Matt Thomas, of St. Thomas More Church in Darien. In addition TakePart and Voices of September 11th’s documentary film, “VOICES,” premiered and our Always Remember Commemorative Book was distributed for the first time.
