The weather finally cooperated as thousands of enthusiastic bike riders traveled car free through the five boros of Manhattan. It was great to greet our tired but happy riders in Staten Island. We enjoyed hearing their stories and meeting their friends and family members. We congratulate our top riders:
Kevin Kelly (pictured left) rode in honor and memory of his good friends, Bob Micculli and Bobby Ford. Billy worked at Cantor Fitzgerald and Bobby was a firefighter who worked tirelessly for months at the World Trade Center site. An avid bike rider, Bobby lost his 2 year battle with pancreatic cancer in October 2009. To support Kevin's ride, click here.
Anthony Saggese (pictured right) was the first Team VOICES member to meet us at the finish line. Anthony was riding in memory of 23 classmates from Xaverian High School in Brooklyn, New York. His inspiring message to his friends, family and classmates touched our hearts. If you haven't had a chance to view it yet, you can see it here.
We can accept contributions to support the bike tour campaign until May 15th. To support our riders, you can click on their pages or to view all of our riders, click here.

Voices of September 11th was co-founded by Mary Fetchet, a clinical social worker following the death of her 24 year old son on 9/11. VOICES provides information, support services and annual commemorative events for 9/11 families, rescue workers and survivors. In 2006, VOICES launched the 9/11 Living Memorial Project to chronicle the lives lost at the Pentagon, Shanksville, PA and the World Trade Center site and document the first hand accounts of rescue workers and survivors. VOICES professional staff has conducted hundreds of workshops throughout the tri-state area, Boston, PA, Washington, DC. and met one-on-one with over 700 families to create a meaningful tribute to their loved ones. More.
