Washington, DC 9/11 Living Memorial Events
VOICES will host a series of 9/11 Living Memorial events at the Sheraton Crystal City Hotel located at 1800 Jefferson Davis Highway in Arlington, Virginia. The program will begin with a 9/11 Living Memorial presentation on Wednesday, April 14, intended to inform the 9/11 community on how to participate in the project. VOICES staff will host 9/11 Living Memorial workshop appointments on Thursday, April 15 and Friday, April 16. 9/11 families, survivors, rescue and recovery workers are encouraged to attend. Reservations are required.

Individual appointments
VOICES staff will meet one-on-one with participants to organize and scan photographs and personal keepsakes to include in the 9/11 Living Memorial Project. Individual appointments last approximately 90 minutes and reservations are required. Participants are invited to bring in photographs, written tributes, eulogies, biographies, newspaper articles and other personal keepsakes to honor the lives of those who died and to document your personal story for future generations. Unless otherwise arranged, all materials will be returned at the workshop.
