Family Tribute to Stephen A. Knapp
Stephen loved his family, friends and fishing. He was a man who didnít need a lot to make him happy. Spending time with family and friends, fishing on his boat, going to the racetrack or a ballgame were things that made him happy. He would often be seen playing with his kids and their friends and he would be having just as good a time as them.
Stephen enjoyed his job and if he got calls in the middle of the night, he knew the Trade Center so well he would be able to answer the questions in his sleep.
Stephen enjoyed life. Whether he was working or playing he made life more enjoyable for those around him. He is with us all the time in spirit. When our thoughts are of him, we smile because the memories everyone has of him are happy ones just as he would have wanted it.
Stephenís death affected many lives and although he is missed, those that knew him feel lucky enough to have spent the time they did with him. He would be very proud of his family and how they live their lives based on what he taught them. His grandchildren will grow up with happy, fun-filled stories of the grandfather they will never get to meet.
