VOICES receives financial support from corporations, foundations, and individual donors. Every contribution, small or large, is important to us. Your support is vital in allowing us to continue the work we do.
The 9/11 Living Memorial
VOICES staff has worked with more than 800 families so far to create tributes to their loved ones as part of the 9/11 Living Memorial, a permanent, web-based digital archive commemorating the lives and stories of September 11, 2001 and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. We are currently conducting workshops around the country to help those who wish to create their tribute pages. We are also beginning to document the response of the hundreds of corporations and organizations affected.
In addition to drawing together tributes to those who perished, stories of survivors, rescue workers and first responders, the 9/11 Living Memorial is the digital home of a growing collection of artwork, poems and music created in response to 9/11.
To thank you for a donation of $75 or more earmarked specifically to support and expand the 9/11 Living Memorial, VOICES will send you our "September 11th Always Remember Candle."
Working with Families and Survivors
Our staff of mental health professionals at VOICES are a vibrant hub of support for people impacted by terrorism. From depression and anxiety screenings to support groups focused on building resiliency, VOICES is a vital resource to a large number of families.
Speaking Out
VOICES advocates on preparedness and prevention related to terrorism and works to educate the public on the status of 9/11 recommendations and legislation. We inform our membership and the nation through our weekly newsletters as well as through our websites, which receives more than 3 million visitors a year.
