About Us | Volunteer/Intern

Volunteer:

Voices of September 11th relies on the help of volunteers who share our mission of supporting the 9/11 community and all those who have been affected by terrorism. VOICES seeks volunteers throughout the year to assist the full-time staff at our office, as well as for the September 10th and 11th Commemorative Events in Lower Manhattan. Though special skills are always welcome, our only requirement for volunteers is a desire to assist others and further VOICES mission. Please contact our office today for more information or to begin working with us.

Intern:

VOICES is also actively seeking high-school and college-age interns. Our Summer Internship program provides a hands-on experience for students interested in 9/11 issues, public policy reform, and non-profit organizations. But VOICES is always interested in working with students in the Fairfield County/ Southeastern Connecticut area during the school year. In recent years, VOICES has recruited exceptional interns from Fairfield University, Mount Holyoke College, New York University, Norwalk Community College, and New Canaan High School. Contact our office today to arrange an internship that meets your interests and school schedule, or to set up an interview for the Summer Internship program.
