In her role at VOICES, Sarah provides phone and email support to survivors and family members, social service program development, research on resiliency and long-term effects after trauma, and social work expertise to support various grants throughout the organization.
Prior to joining VOICES in April 2018, Sarah gained valuable experience as a Social Worker in the Psychiatric Emergency Room in addition to previous experiences in Program Development and working with adolescents who had experienced extensive sexual trauma. Sarah obtained her Master of Social Work from C.W. Post and a certificate in Criminology from University of Massachusetts – Lowell. She holds her LMSW licenses in both New York and Connecticut. Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design Studies from Arizona State University.
